Ipswich YM cruise to a comfortable win over Bury Rovers

Ipswich YM arrived at Bury with a full squad to face a team that has been a formidable competitor in previous seasons.

However the confidence and team work built up during the pre-season training was evident from the opening minutes of the game when Jamie Goldsmith went over in the first 37 seconds.

This was the theme of the game with YM scoring a total of 8 tries from Jamie Goldsmith, Chad Harvey, Jonny Godzicz, Kaselle Lee, Stefan Cawston (2) and Wes Chetty.
The tries were converted by Ian Girling(3) and Jack Bennett.

Although the first half was all YM, in the second half Bury started to put pressure on the YM defense and they were unlucky not to score. But YM weathered the storm and finished the game with the same dominance that they had started with.
