YM 1st XV Awarded an away walk-over win

Although 10 bonus point wins from 10 games is impressive, the shine is reduced somewhat when some of these wins aren't truly earnt.

On a practical level, it results in the team being deprived of match practise and not being able to use the rehearsed game plan in anger.

However, the free afternoon did mean that a number of players went to Humber Doucy Lane to support the Hawks in their friendly against Ipswich RFC.
